The pyramid made for Stroud International Textile Festival was so admired, it was invited to carry on some good work on behalf of the Alzheimer Society. So the pyramid was transported to the Apple Store Gallery in Herefordshire where the scorching heat of June did not melt the snowballs nor did its ageing effect detract from its beauty! More people were invited to make snowballs which were added to the base.
The funds it raised helped to start a local choir for people with Alzheimer’s.
The pyramid that came next was for Dilke Hospital, Forest of Dean.
