Sybil needs your help!
She’s made 2,500 paper snowballs already, and taken them on a variety of adventures into the landscape.
However, her ambition is to make a giant pyramid out of 10,000 snowballs,
but she can’t do it alone…
So… can you help Sybil out and make a paper snowball?
If you’d like to get involved, make sure you use waste paper to make your snowball(s). Creating Art is a great way to re-use and re-cycle!
Contemporary Art Practice is the name of the game, so when you have made a snowball – or several – why not have some fun with them and take some photos before sending them to Sybil?
You could:
- Make a still life imitating Morandi
- Use your snowballs creatively as Picasso might have done
- Create an outdoor installation imitating Richard Long
- Create an installation in the style of an artist of your choice
- Create an indoor installation with unusual lighting
- Create an installation involving sound
- Create an installation using a variety of mixed media
- Create a fashion statement with your snowball(s)
- Decorate and/or dye your snowball(s)
- Create something else entirely!
When you’re done, email your photographs to snowballart@thesnowballgang.com and a selection of the most original examples will be posted on this website.
When you’ve finished making art with your snowballs, don’t forget to send them to:
The Pyramid Project,
2 All Saints Fields,
Summer Street,
Stroud,
Gloucestershire, GL5 1NE
If you have made too many to post easily, please contact Sybil to arrange delivery or collection of your snowballs.
