Severnside Snowballs
The Snowball Gang is the creation of artist, Sybil Edwards, who works exclusively with the medium of snowballs made from recycled paper. She enjoys the discipline of exploring her creativity within this self-imposed limitation. The sphere is a very dynamic form and also a building component. Engineering is always a challenge.
Sybil chose the name ‘The Snowball Gang’ to communicate an invitation to become involved, as well as referring to the artworks that would build up through various activities. Works are manifest in Land Art installations, collaborative Pyramids and amusing Vignettes.
